St. Arvans Memorial Hall is a major hub for everyone in the local community. Children’s activities have always featured and that is just the same today, We are very fortunate in having a super-active Toddlers Group, led by Joy Arthur, a mum with an infinite amount of energy, patience and understanding. Sessions in the rear hall just buzz with vitality on Monday mornings.

It was Joy that took up the challenge of organising a Fun Day to celebrate 100 years of the hall. It was an excellent afternoon for anyone who dropped in to sample the fun and the tasty teas.

Ami Hilliard, dressed as a friendly clown led the musical entertainment, Charlotte Cordingley of ‘Tiny Toes Ballet’ fame (regular Wednesdays in the hall) led the dancing and host of parents and carers organised a miscellany of activities, including a raffle, baby sensory area, table games etc.
